A week-long camp to strengthen digital rights community and movement in Southeast Asia, creating opportunities for regional advocacy and networking.

Building a Feminist Media (2018)

Reflecting upon the state of media, capacity-building through a peer-learning and participatory process; and strategising for a feminist media.

Coconet I (2017)
Organised by EngageMedia and Association for Progressive Communications

A weeklong camp with over 100 participants, focusing on the digital rights movement in Southeast Asia. It catalysed regional networking and collaboration, sparking campaigns in the digital rights field. Faciliated a session on Queer Rights and Participation in Southeast Asia. Organised by EngageMedia and Association for Progressive Communications, who were also my sponsors.

Countering Sexual- and Gender-Based Violence (2017)
Organised by a coalition of feminist organisations.

A strategising consultation to develop alternative narratives to counter negative effects and impact of sexual and gender-based violence. 

Netmerdeka (2016)
Organised by a coalition of civil society organisations.

A workshop prompted by proposed amendments to the Communications and Multimedia Act (CMA) to discuss key issues affecting internet rights in Malaysia, examine relevant laws, and submit proposals for People’s Charter for Internet Freedoms. 

Youth Leaders: Make a Difference (2015)
Organised by The International Centre for Human Development (IC4HD), the Indian Institute of Advanced Study (IIAS), and UNDP .

A workshop for young Asian leaders in developing strategies for human development, strengthening leadership skills, and formulating strategies for influencing public policy.
